The CHBC designation helps healthcare professionals distinguish a knowledgeable, experienced consultant. To become a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant, one must:

Have served as a business or practice management consultant in the healthcare field for at least three years.
Have passed a rigorous examination covering business and financial management expertise.
Maintain at least 35 hours of approved continuing education credits each year.
Document adherence each year to an industry specific code of ethics.
